NJ Dirt Season Preview Show Set For March 17

Burlington, NJ, February 26, 2000......With all of the 1999 season ending celebrations behind us, it is now time to focus your attention on the fast approaching 2000 racing season. On Friday night, March 17th, Nick Leach and Pete Wortman will do just that as they host their "Second Annual Season Preview Party" at the VFW Post #1817 on the riverfront in Burlington, NJ.

Leach, along with his New Egypt Speedway announcing partner "Pistol" Pete Wortman, will preview the upcoming New Jersey dirt racing campaign as they discuss news and happenings in all three local divisions (Modifieds, Sportsman, and Street Stocks). The "Dynamic Duo" will conduct interviews with numerous drivers and special guests that will be in attendance. Many competitors from the New Egypt Speedway are scheduled to be on hand, as well as several drivers from other area speedways.

Some of the drivers that are slated to appear and talk about their plans for 2000 include Modified stars Roger Laureno, Doug & Keith Hoffman, Eddie Bohn, Tim Tanner Jr., Mark Bitner, Scott Van Gorder & Gary Butler. Also on hand will be Sportsman standouts Bob Worthington, Tom Eppolite, Larry Archer, Jack Swain, Kenny Roth and Ron John Koczon. While the Street Stock will be represented by Al Cheney, Dale Haines, Kory Fleming, and Lenny Riley just to name a few.

In addition to the on stage activities, the evening will feature prizes and giveaways, along with a 50/50. A DJ will be on hand for your dancing and listening pleasure following the show. Admission is free and open to adults only. Two cash bars will be open and food will be available.

The doors will open that evening at 7pm, with the festivities getting underway at 8pm. Seating is limited -- so plan to arrive early.
