Wujcik and McDonnell join Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters ofBurlington

James Wujcik, Managing Director of the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders and vice president of Sovereign Bank has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Burlington County.

Wujcik, a resident of Delran, brings financial, managerial, and fundraising experience and expertise to the board.

Tina McDonnell has also joined the organization's Board of Directors. The Palmyra resident is an insurance specialist with Apple Chiropractic and is an active volunteer in numerous community and charitable organizations.

The group's Board of Directors started the new year off with a new slate of officers including Gary Zangerle of Marlton as president, Marianne Barricelli of Mt. Laurel as vice president, and Tom Mansdoefer of Delran as secretary/treasurer.

The Big Brothers and Big Sisters program matches children from single parent families with adults who are willing to spend time with the child on a weekly basis.

Anyone interested in volunteering as a Big Brother or Big Sister or serving on a Big Brothers/Big Sisters fundraising committee should call 609/727-0779 for more information.

Jan. 1 will also see the start of special blue and white flags flying over county buildings as well as red, white and blue bunting which will adorn the courthouse and other county structures.
