Juvenile arrested for possession of "ecstacy" drug


March 9, 2000

Arrest: Feb. 4 - At 2:30 a.m. after responding to a disturbance call at the Wawa on Maple Avenue, Patrolman Petrecca arrested Antonia Gon- zaiez, 21, of New Egypt, and charged him with being drunk and disorderly. Gonzalez was processed and released pending court.

Arrest: Feb. 5 - At 5:20 p.m. during a motor vehicle stop, Patrolman Richard Lerche arrested Walter Pues, 35, of Robbinsville, on a charge of D.W.I. Fues was processed and released pending court hearing.

Arrest: Feb. 6 - At 4 a.m. as a result of a motor vehicle stop. Patrolman Matthew Petrecca arrested Ariel Lugo, 38, of Freehold, on charges of unclear plates and D.W.I. Lugo was processed and released pending court.

Arrest: Feb. 6 - At 12:17 a.m. Senior Patrolman Robert Pintye arrested Steven Dorazio, 24, during a motor vehicle stop. The Browns Mills resident was charged with D.W.I, and failure to maintain his lane. Dorazio was processed and released pending a court hearing.

Arrest: Feb. 12 - Patrolman Petrecca arrested Scott Martins, 18, of Englishtown at 9:50 p.m. during a motor vehicle stop. Martins was charged with D.W.I, and unclear plates. He was processed and released pending court. Also arrested on the stop was juvenile, age 16, for possession of a controlled dangerous substance under 50 grams, possession of (C.D.S.) "ecstacy"; and possession with intent to distribute this narcotic. He was released pending court hearing.

Accident: Feb. 15 - At 3:30 p.m. Patrolman Shane Bakely responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a traffic light pole in the intersection of Routes 539/537. Involved was Kimberly Hinds, 26, of Toms River. No injuries were reported or summonses issued at the scene

Accident: Feb. 17 - Sgt. George Titko investigated a motor vehicle accident at 9:35 a.m. that occurred on Rt.539. In- volved was Deneen Hohman, 34, of Seaville, and Rene Wright 46, of New Egypt. Only complaints of minor injuries. Hohman was issued a summons for careless driving.

Accident: Feb. 18 - At 9:50 a.m. Patrolman Robert Zack responded to a single vehicle accident that occurred on Rt. 537. Involved was Charles Hall, 20, of Georgia. Roads were snow covered at the time. no injuries. were reported and no summonses were issued at the scene.
