Thirteen reasons to get involved in the Parade Committee are:

1. You might just have a good time and feel like you accomplished something. 2. We've missed you...heard you have some good stories & jokes. 3. You haven't met the new 20+ members who are willing to get involved. 4. You're tired of New Egypt Lodge #2457 not winning first place. 5. You feel bad for Harry Crane having to do all the work. 6. You didn't like the colors picked out for last year's parade. 7. You're not willing to see Walt screw things up by himself. 8. You're tired of being a couch potato and have decided to make a difference, get some exercise or just socialize with Walt. 9. Your New Year's resolution is to get back to being involved with your Elks. 10. This is Mortgage Burning year and you have worked too hard in the past not to take "all" this year. 11. You feel guilty about being away for so long. 12. My wife doesn't think you will get off your butt. 13. I need the help and you're just the person that can give it. ** Thirteen is an unlucky number...give me your reason why you should get involved. |
