Handicapped Children's Committee
The Handicapped Children's Committee wishes to thank all those who helped celebrate the dedication of the HCC Equipment Building on December 17th. The special event was highlighted with the unfeiling of our sign which notes that we have dedicated the building in Memory of Florian J. "Bud" Lombardi - whose love of people, insight into their needs and caring continue to help this community each and every day.
Also on December 17th over 80 people attended the annual HCC Christmas Party. All children received a gift, played bingo and of course, met Santa!
On December 12th & 15th, the southwest district HCC helped the Sunshine Foundation in the annual "Richard Folsom Memorial Toy Drive" held at Mercer County Special Services. Over 900 toys were distributed. Our Lodge provided stuffed animals for all the 6 year old girls.
We await January as we again look to the Southwest District finals in the annual Poster Contest. New Egypt Lodge has 10 entries.
Remember ID Day is on January 21, 2001. Photos will start at 1:00 pm. Hoagie Sale will start at 11:00 am. Remember all ID's are free!
February 3rd will again be a Comedy Night for HCC. Food and Fun for $20.00. Call 758-8563 for tickets.
On March 3rd the Southwest District Charity Ball will honor HCC Chairman Terry Conk. Tickets are available at 758-8563 and are $20.
