Please Help Us Build the Children's Memorial Garden

Members of the New Egypt Elks Handicapped Children's Committee and our Trustees are honoring our children who were taken from us much too soon. We are building a Memorial Garden on the Lodge grounds to offer a sanctuary to those seeking solitude for reflection and remembrance and we can use your help! We are in need of volunteer expertise in the following areas: Landscape Design, Excavating, Graphic Design, Irrigation, Electrical and Masonry. If you are willing to commit a few hours time and labor, we could use your valuable assistance in constructing the Children's Memorial Garden. The Garden will be open to the public and will be wheelchair accessible. With the generous support of the community, we hope to have the garden completed in 2005. The Garden will be built in stages as funds become available.

Memorial bricks will be placed in the Garden to honor any child deceased before age 21 and HCC roster children. Bricks will also be sold for anyone wishing to memorialize a loved one. If you can volunteer or wish more information about purchasing a brick, please contact Loretta Walsh at 732-928-7726 or you can email: CMGARDEN@optonline.net
